My name is Laura O'Neal and I am the owner and operator of Laura's Daycare. I have worked with children all of my life. I grew up in the mountains of NC. In college I studied early childhood development and I also worked as a Lead Teacher at a 5 star NAEYC accredited child development center. I taught there for 5 years before getting married and then having a child of my own. I moved to TX and I have owned a home daycare for 7 years.  I am registered with DFPS of TX. I have had many hours of training in Child Development, SIDS, Age Appropriate Activities, and am trained in CPR and First Aid. I truly feel like I have the best job on the planet. Kids have such curiosity and a real desire to learn and experience new things. The kids bring me such happiness and joy.  Having low ratios and getting more one on one time with the children makes for excellent learning opportunities. I try to develop close relationships with all the parents.  Throughout the day I text parents and send pics of their children to keep them updated on the days  events. At my home, children are never just a number....they are the priority.
